All of the diamonds that we sell have been purchased through legitimate, conflict-free sources. We have a zero tolerance policy regarding this. Our suppliers are bound by the Kimberly Process – a certification that requires each shipment of rough diamonds to be in a tamper resistant container and accompanied by a government validated certificate.

We continually stay in touch with all of our suppliers to be on the leading edge of the best industry practices to fulfill our commitment and focus to protecting and giving back to the mine sources where our diamonds come from. Here at J. Albert Johnson Jewelers, we are very proud to carry Forevermark diamonds, a brand from the DeBeers Group that goes above and beyond and is leading the diamond industry in regards to responsible sourcing. Not only is special care given when selecting a country and diamond mining company to work with, but also throughout the mining process and afterwards. Careful attention is given to the environment, as well as to the community with jobs created, hospitals built and healthcare provided. Forevermark is also unique in that each diamond is continually tracked, beginning at the approved diamond mine to when it is cut and polished, then set in your very own piece of jewelry.
